Choice of articles, as the year progresses, is fairly arbitrary - sometime a political issue stirs me to reach for this keypad, sometimes a suggestion from Rod. There's no pre-ordained system - though there is a small kind-of randomly formed list of topics waiting to be addressed... when I can find time.... such as 'coasting' (mine) and 'getting to sleep' (now written) (Rod's).

But with this new heat-wave (see shots below) and me preferring to be out along the wild beach or across the cliffs or out to Friston forest, the Seven Sisters or just idling here on the patio or in the garden - or even visiting and nattering with old friends in the Old Town junk shops... with all those alternatives, the lure of writing loses its colour somewhat, so only when that curious unpredictable yearning to 'create' stirs me do I effortlessly drift back to this keypad to write something. ('Create' is in parenthesis because I guess I could just as well - for some of my articles, at any rate - use the word 'blabber').
